Hothouses

The Backyard Hot House can be made to order to suit your required application.  The corners and gable inserts are standard items and will fit any size Hot House.  All we do is cut the galvanized RHS steel tube to suit your required size, then make the cover to suit the frame.  The Hot House covers are attached to the frame using stay puts for easy fitting and removal, just like a caravan annex.

These Hot Houses are compact, easy to install facilities.  They are 1850mm wide x 3000mm long and 2400mm to the top of the gable.  They are covered in white Solarshield 200gsm.  The sturdy frame is made from 25mm x 25mm x 1.6mm Duragal RHS steel tube. There are four side shelves in this Hot House, two lower shelves at 3000mm long x 560mm wide and two upper shelves at 3000mm long x 360mm wide.  You can see these Hot Houses on display at our Borton Road, Tullera premises.

The Backyard Hot Houses come standard with an irrigation system. The frame can either be dyna bolted to a concrete slab or be erected on a base of blue metal aggregate & secured to the ground by screwing it to star picket posts that are driven into the ground at each internal corner. The blue metal aggregate will help the water to drain away so you are not standing in water when you are working in your Hot House.

Hot Houses are great for growing seedlings for planting into your garden and are also useful for growing plants that require hotter temperatures as well as growing plants out of season.
